During the screening on Thursday, Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan pointed out a hard truth: “We struggle with light, and we are sitting on over 200 trillion cubic feet of gas.” Her call for the industry to move from manual processes to digitization and to translate raw resources into refined value for domestic use is a vision Doowe Gas has championed since our inception.
We agree that the world will not wait for Nigeria. To stay competitive, especially in the wake of COP30 sustainability requirements, our gas sector must embrace asset integrity and data transparency.

Saidu Muhammad’s emphasis on domestic refining and energy security resonates deeply with our operations. His commitment to protecting local investments and enforcing the Gas Network Code is the “discipline” the industry needs to ensure consistent supply to power plants and homes alike.
Muhammad correctly identified that “Regulation without technical capacity will not work.” At Doowe Gas, we are doing our part by investing in the infrastructure and education necessary to bridge the gap between production and the end-user.
