NLNG, NLPGA partner on boosting cooking gas supply to North

The Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) company and the Nigerian Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association (NLGPA) have agreed to work together to surmount some of the challenges that have hindered the penetration of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) especially to the northern part of the country, Daily Trust reports.

The NLPGA, which is the umbrella body of all stakeholders in the LPG (cooking gas) sector and Nigeria LNG Limited, a major supplier of LPG, also pledged cooperation to rid the LPG market of sharp practices.

This was part of the outcome of a visit to the NLNG Abuja office by the NLPGA Abuja Chapter EXCO led by its interim Vice Chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Salka, Secretary Abdulkadir Abass and the Technical and Safety Advisor, Engr. Magose Abraham Eju.

Salka said the NLPGA Abuja Chapter visited the NLNG to acquaint the company of the association’s upcoming LPG Stakeholders Forum in May this year with the theme “Deforestation: LPG to the Rescue.”
